Evolution: The Sacred Spiral of Becoming
“Man proposes, God disposes” is a proverb that resonates deeply with my life. Like many in the modern world, I dreamed of studying at a premier educational institution. In the 1960s and 70s, gaining admission to an engineering college in India was considered a dream come true. Since engineering was not an option for me, I pursued a Master’s in Statistics instead.
From childhood, I cultivated a habit of reading across diverse subjects. My journey into Vedic Astrology began through books by various authors, and elders guided me in understanding its fundamentals and interpreting natal charts.
During my studies, I encountered the concept of Dharma Karma Adhipati Yoga. In Vedic Astrology, the conjunction or mutual aspect of the 9th and 10th house lords is considered highly auspicious. It is said to inspire individuals toward divine tasks that earn recognition during their lifetime and remembrance long after. This yoga may manifest in two ways:
The native may invent something new that benefits future generations.
The native may establish a business, religious, social, or cultural organization that continues to flourish beyond their lifetime.
Discovering this yoga in my chart ignited my dream of entrepreneurship. I envisioned building businesses with my knowledge and skills, and by age 23, I ventured into industries spanning food, chemicals, edible oils, mineral oils, and polymers. With determination, talent, and resources, I achieved early success, even becoming an accredited vendor for multinational corporations.
Yet, I overlooked one crucial factor: Time. Time brings change — in technology, environment, and profitability. Disruptions in raw materials and supply chains created uncertainty, and I found myself navigating turbulent waters. Despite my faith in Dharma Karma Adhipati Yoga, reality did not align with the promises of astrology books.
I experienced both great success and profound failures. I earned much, only to lose it all later. At my lowest point, I reflected deeply and noticed a recurring pattern: whenever I reached the heights of success, I could not remain there permanently; yet, whenever I hit rock bottom, I eventually bounced back.
Seeking guidance, I consulted astrologers, but their answers were repetitive: unfavorable Saturn transits, Rahu/Ketu issues, mangal dosha, naga dosha, and so on. They offered timelines of relief — three to six months — but the promised respite never arrived.
This led me to question astrology itself. Some dismiss it as fake or pseudoscience. Being both realistic and spiritual, I resolved to study Vedic Astrology in depth — either to prove it or disprove it. I told myself: if I found correlations between my horoscope and life events, I would embrace spirituality; if not, I would conclude that free will is stronger than destiny and become an atheist.
At the bottom of my life, I had the time to immerse myself in astrology. I endured immense stress, failures, and setbacks, unaware that Lord Shiva was teaching me through lived experience. My entrepreneurial dreams were overshadowed by a greater plan. Dharma Karma Adhipati Yoga was merely the tip of an iceberg in a vast ocean.
Just as planetary movements shape Earth’s climate in recurring cycles, our lives follow patterns influenced by planetary positions at birth — what we call Karma. These patterns bring both positive and negative impacts on career, finances, relationships, and health. While we cannot undo karma, we can understand it. Recognizing life’s patterns allows us to avoid weaknesses and focus on strengths.
I believe Lord Shiva chose me to map the karma behind our lives. Through this work, we help individuals identify their strengths and weaknesses, recognize favorable times for action, and navigate challenging periods with patience. We teach practical lessons — what to do, what to avoid, and how to overcome difficulties.
This is not conventional horoscope reading. It is a transformative approach — a gamechanger. Reinvent yourself, align with your strengths, and create a successful life filled with peace and happiness.
